Villagg tal-Fanal is five minutes away by car from the capital city Victoria. There is a small well-stocked mini-market within walking distance from the village.
There are twenty six houses in all (with one, two, three or four bedrooms), each having a well-equipped kitchen (ideal for self-catering holidays) and a comfortable living room. All the two bed-roomed houses have a large terrace on ground or first floor level.
A large swimming pool and sunbeds are at the disposal of the residents. The village is adorned with plants, and there is an atmosphere of complete relaxation and tranquility. All residents may park their cars in a large underground car park situated beneath part of the village itself. A weekly maid service including change of linen and towels is offered free of charge.

The only thing I didn’t like was that anyone can enter your flat if the flat’s front door isn’t locked with a key from the inside. To be honest it happens to me because one time I accidentally went in on another family because they forgot to lock it see more

For the first 10 days both the showers were broken and we had to shower at the pool side with cold water, they eventually fixed one of the shower, the other one was broken for the whole 17 days we spent at the apartment, they tried to fix it a few tsee more
For the first 10 days both the showers were broken and we had to shower at the pool side with cold water, they eventually fixed one of the shower, the other one was broken for the whole 17 days we spent at the apartment, they tried to fix it a few times and I believe they just gave up in the end and left us with the broken shower, all four of us had to use one shower even though I paid for a two bed, two bath apartment. There was a specific male staff who was extremely rude to us, argued with my husband, went up in his face and flipped him off when he was driving pass him in his car. When we reported it I feel like the manager didn’t take our complain serious and said that we didn’t have any witness to this particular staff been rude, even though we did as he was rude to more than one person on multiple occasions. When I complained and ask for a refund, I felt the response from the manager was very unprofessional, he basically said if I don’t like it I can leave and he will not be providing a refund, only for days I don’t stay there and I had until the next day to decide if I wanted to leave. If I wasn’t staying with a big party I would have left and obviously it’s a very small island and there are not a lot of places to book last minute. I would not stay at this apartment again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

During your holiday, our maintenance team worked to resolve the shower issue, and while one unit was restored, we regret the delay in completing the second. We understand this was inconvenient. Regarding your concerns about staff conduct, we carried out a full internal review, including CCTV checks and discussions with those involved. No evidence was found to support the aggressive behaviour described. That said, we reinforced communication standards within our team to avoid misunderstandings in the future. It is also important to note that throughout your stay, our team received multiple complaints daily from other unrelated guests about disruptions caused by your party, which we were obliged to address in the interest of all residents. We always strive to balance the comfort of every guest and handle concerns with fairness and professionalism. While we regret that you left with this impression, we remain committed to ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for all who stay with us. |

In my opinion, we could do with another set of keys.. since we were 2 couples and a child. The bathroom with the bath, the shower head poored little of water. And the flushing of the shower room needs to flush more water. The only complain I have is see more

Booking for a family of 4, one bedroom I expect it to be double bed and not 4 single beds. The shower door needs to be sealed better as using the mop each time after taking a shower is not ideal. A throw over sheet in the sofa might be a good idea. Asee more

A throw over sheet in the sofa might be a good idea. A tablecloth on the kitchen table is essential as the wooden surface is very sticky, infac i laid down a paper tablecloth. An AC unit in the living room above the kitchen table is also a necessity. Meanwhile I must admit that the ceiling fans are very convenient and useful. Lastly, I believe that both bathrooms need some refurbishment in general ( they are quite old). Thanks

Apartment was good for 4 people, the kitchen had lack of utensils, in our opinion more items should be included. Also few pledges in the apartment we couldn't even charge out devices at night, more lampshades in bedrooms. On a positive note when we booked this apartment Ta Frenc people were very helpful to assist us. We will return again for sure
