PAYMENTS & CANCELLATION
When you confirm an online booking, we’ll ask for a 25% deposit of the total booking price.
Once we’ve received your deposit, you’ll get an automatic confirmation email so you can start looking forward to your holiday.
The balance will be automatically charged to your credit card:
– 21 days before arrival
If you’re booking less than 21 days before arrival, we’ll simply take the full amount at the time of booking.
Your payment will show on your card statement as Fanal Holiday Homes. We don’t charge any processing or credit card fees.
We hope your plans don’t change, but if they do, just send us an email at reservations@fanalholidayhomes.com.
Our cancellation policy is:
Up to 21 days before arrival – 25% of the total booking price.
Less than 21 days before arrival or no-show – 100% of the total booking price.
Our direct-booking special offers (via website, email, or phone) can’t usually be combined with other offers or discount cards, unless we’ve said otherwise. And just so you know, all special offers apply to new bookings only.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Yes, most of our properties require a 2 to 7 night stay, depending on the season and the property. You’ll see the minimum stay clearly displayed when you search your dates.
We love pets, but unfortunately, they aren’t allowed at Villagg tal-Fanal or Ta’ Frenc Apartments.
Some of our farmhouses and villas do welcome one pet per property, though. If you’d like to bring yours along, please get in touch before booking so we can confirm and explain the guidelines. These include a small nightly fee (€10) and a refundable security deposit (€150). Pets also need their own bed or basket, and mustn’t be left alone in the house or pool area.
We’ll be happy to note your preference, but as ground floor apartments are very limited, we can’t promise one will be available.
For safety and comfort — and in line with our tourism licence — we do have strict occupancy limits:
- 1-bedroom: 3 guests + 1 baby
- 2-bedroom: 5 guests + 1 baby
- 3-bedroom: 7 guests + 1 baby
- 4-bedroom: 9 guests + 1 baby
Extra beds or inflatable mattresses aren’t permitted, but we’ll always do our best to help you find a setup that works for your family.
Most of our bedrooms have single beds, but if you prefer a double, we can add a comfortable mattress topper, subject to availability — just let us know before you arrive.

There’s free on-street parking near all properties.Villagg tal-Fanal also has complimentary open underground parking (first-come, first-served, no reservations).

Yes — you’re welcome to take a dip any time of year, though the pools aren’t heated, so the temperature will follow the seasons.
Yes, we have them available. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure they’re ready for your arrival.
Yes. You’ll find hair/body wash and hand soap in every bathroom.
Yes, we provide 2 full rolls per bathroom at the start of your stay. If you need more, you can easily pick them up from a nearby supermarket.
Yes, 1 garbage bag and 1 compost bag will be waiting for you when you arrive. If you need more, you can easily pick them up from a nearby supermarket.
We include a few basics such as dishwashing liquid and a sponge. If you need more, you can easily pick them up from a nearby supermarket.
Yes. All beds are made with fresh linen, and each guest gets a bath towel, face towel and a large pool towel. We also include kitchen towels. For stays of 8 nights or more, we’ll refresh these mid-stay.
Of course — for a small fee, we can provide extra sets outside the scheduled service.
No — for hygiene reasons, we leave food items out.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all properties.
Yes, every bedroom and the living/kitchen area has either a ceiling or floor fan.
Yes! Each bedroom comes with coin-operated air conditioning to keep you cool and comfy. Just a heads-up — remember to switch it off when you leave the room to help save energy (and keep costs down). And don’t forget to bring along some €1 or €2 coins to get it going!

ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
A few days before you arrive, we’ll send you a 4-digit code for the key safe at your property. This means you can check in any time after 3:00 PM, whenever it’s convenient for you.
We’ll send all the details you need a few days before your holiday starts.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. We can’t offer early check-ins as we want to make sure your place is perfectly clean and ready for you.
Sorry, no — access is only available once cleaning and inspection are complete.
DURING YOUR STAY
Please call us straight away on the emergency number in your arrival information — we’ll get you sorted.
To keep things safe and comfortable for all guests, only registered overnight guests are allowed at the property. Visitors are not allowed.

We want all our guests (and neighbours!) to enjoy a peaceful holiday, so parties, events, and loud music aren’t allowed. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors and by the pool.
Smoking is not allowed indoors, but you’ll find designated outdoor smoking areas with ashtrays.
We do everything we can to make your stay smooth and enjoyable, but we get it—sometimes things don’t go perfectly. If something isn’t right during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us immediately using the emergency number you’ll find in your arrival info. This way, we can jump on it quickly and fix things while you’re still here.
Just a quick note: it’s really important to let us know during your stay if there’s a problem. Unfortunately, we can’t address or offer compensation for issues reported after you’ve checked out, especially if we didn’t have the chance to make it right while you were with us.

Check-out is by 10:00 AM so we can get everything ready for the next guests.
Sometimes, yes — depending on availability. Just let us know at least 24 hours before departure. Extra fee applies.
